Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor and has served as a director, producer as well as a producer. The actor is most well-known for the film 'Birdman. His passion for the performing arts began when he was in his teen years. He began to try stand-up comedy in his early 20s. This job is where he realized the only thing he really wanted was to perform before cameras. He was then offered a television part, playing several shows on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor, and quickly became a household name on the television. His comedic characters earned him fame, and he embarked upon a career as a filmmaker with big dreams. The actor gained further recognition for his portrayal of the famous Batman as Tim Burton's Batman. In his later years, as a mature actor he also began to venture into directing and producing. His performance in Birdman in 2014's Birdman brought him nominations and prizes.
